Solo60 is a startup dedicated to transforming unused spaces in London into accessible gyms. Operating on a credits and subscription model, the platform enables gym-goers and trainers to rent gym spaces for private use or group sessions through the app. I joined the project to redesign Solo60’s web and app interfaces, focusing on improving the user experience and addressing challenges in booking functionality. The redesigned UI aimed to attract new users, a challenge the previous design had struggled to meet.
Collaborating with another designer and the business owner, we restructured the site map, refined wireframes, and aligned on a visual style despite evolving content. We added SEO-focused pages and worked closely with developers to implement animations and fine-tune the design for web performance.
For the app, we improved usability by simplifying the booking flow and updating the UX for clarity. Testing multiple versions with users and investors helped us identify the most effective solution, significantly enhancing the overall experience.
